Members and partners
Membership of the network is open to the countries eligible for assistance under the Erasmus+ Programme 2014-2020. The participating countries designate their representatives in the network. In order to fulfill the objectives of the network, representatives should:
- be able to represent a lifelong learning perspective (preferably covering education, training and employment for both young people and adults).
- be clearly linked to relevant policy-making processes within their country.
- have the capacity both to contribute to the activities of the network and to involve the relevant national stakeholders in the education, training and employment sectors, including the social partners and guidance practitioners.
The working assumptions are that within the ELGPN meetings each national delegation will comprise no more than three persons to achieve the necessary representativeness and that they will include governmental and non-governmental representatives. Where national co-ordination bodies or fora exist, these will provide a suitable basis for the composition of national delegations.
