The Second Summer School on Higher Education 2015

Time: 1st - 2nd June, 2015

Place: University of Jyväskylä, Agora building, Lea Pulkkinen -room

The Summer School provides PhD students an opportunity to present and get feedback on their research, participate in the writing-workshop and meet the senior researchers and other PhD students from the field of higher education research.

PhD students can have credits for participating in the summer school and presenting a paper (see the instructions for the paper, presentation and the abstract submission). A recommended credit amount for participation is 3 ECTS credits. However, each student must negotiate this with their supervisor in advance.

The summer school is intended for PhD students studying primarily in Finnish universities; participation is free of charge. Accommodation is free of charge for the members of the Consortium of the Higher Education Researchers in Finland, CHERIF. The Summer School is jointly organised by the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers in Finland (CHERIF), the University of Jyväskylä, the Finnish Institute of Higher Education (FIER), and the Finnish Doctoral Programme for Higher Education Administration Management and Economics (HEAME), which is organised by the University of Tampere and the University of Helsinki.
