Instructions for the paper, presentation and abstract

Papers and presentations

Every student will present a paper in the summer school. The paper should focus on some questions/problems/themes of the dissertation. The main point is the usefull discussion and active participation of the students. The paper should be about 3 pages long and students will send the papers not later than a week before the summer school to: taru.siekkinen@jyu.fi. The papers are downloaded to the summer school webpages (with a pathkey).

The paper can be a) theoretical b) empirical c) about the one article of the dissertation, or d) one or two of the main themes or questions of the dissertation.

Every student will act as a discussant to one other paper. Also the senior higher education researchers will comment the papers and presentations.

Abstracts

The students will apply to the summer school by writing an abstract based on the full paper. The abstract should be no longer than 8000 characters. The abstracts will be submitted via the application form.
