Instructions for the paper, presentation and abstract
The abstract is written on the application form page and it should be 200 - 1000 words. It should involve shortly the theoretical framework, data and methods and main results.
The paper and the presentation may refer to the entire PhD, or to one part, e.g. one article. The paper should be structured as follows: Theoretical framework, empirical data and methodology used, main/provisional results. As this year’s summer school focuses on methods and methodologies in higher education research, we invite the contributions to focus especially on these questions. PhD students are asked to send the full papers no later than 31st July. The paper length should be 3 to 5 pages.
Each student will have 15-20 min for presenting own work. Afterwards there will be 20 minutes for comments, questions and discussion. Each paper will be commented by student commentator as well as by senior researcher, followed by comments from other participants of the Summer School. Every student will comment on one paper.
